I just rented 2046!What an amazing movie! I hear it’s the kind of film people either hate or love. In fact a few of my friends already hated it.I think it’s amazing.Apart form the visual language, which is mind-blowing, I really got into the fragmented story. The plot (of what’s there that could be called a plot) revolves around a man, who writes a sci-fi novel, using the women of his life as characters.
There’s not much more to it. Things in the movie just sort of happen, often randomly, they don’t necessarily fit together, people come and people go without ever really being introduced…… in a way it’s how live and espceally love is. It just happens. And then it stops again. And there doesn’t seem to be a way of ever really making too much sense of it. So we’re in for the ride and get to enjoy the colors.
